Bonjour les aigles,
I hope this message finds everyone in high spirits. I am also hoping that you can help share some important opportunities with anyone you think might benefit. I did not want to wait until the October Newsletter to send this information out as it would be too late then for some of these opportunities. So, without further ado, here they are:
Mother Goose Program
The Kamloops Parent-Child Mother Goose program provides free early literacy programming for children 0-5 and their families in the South Sa-Hali Library. For more information on dates and times, please see the attached pdf.
Special Olympics BC Kamloops Fall / Winter Schedule
The Special Olympics is dedicated to providing individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to enhance their life and celebrate personal achievement through positive sport experiences. This is an excellent opportunity. Please share with anyone you believe would benefit. The schedule of activities is posted in the post just below this one.
South Sa-Hali Elementary is hoping to continue our One-to-One Reading program. We are still looking for parents, grand-parents, aunts, uncles or other volunteers to read in French and / or English. If you are available a short time each week for 12 weeks, please contact our school contact, Melanie Dumas ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) or our parent coordinator for this wonderful program, Margaret Pillay at email@example.com
The following training dates are offered for One-to-One volunteers. If you are interested in
